My name is Eric, i am french but living in Montreal (canada). I've been working in 3D animation, multimedia and virtual reality for 20 years, starting teaching five years ago 3D animation (Max) and realtime application design with Shockwave Lingo 3D.
Last year i started to develop on the shockwave engine a home-made desktop motion capture system, with torso, hand and face tracking. Now i teach MotionBuilder and Mocap in Montmorency college in Laval (quebec). We have a 20 cameras MotionAnalysis system, and a magnetic Ascension MotionStar.
So that's it !

Wow 20 years congrats. I currently am going to a school in Comox BC, Canada called Lost Boys learning. It focus on 3D animation and Visual effects with maya. There are 3 terms and the last term you focus on the subject you prefer (ie modelling, vfx, animation, ect). My focus is human animation and hoping to work with EA in vancouver. I have take some poor man motion capture at the hockey arena but find it kinda painful to track but not going to give up.

Hello Al and everybody,

My Name is Paul, I am korean and living in Seoul(Korea). I've been working
in Programming in 3Years and MotionCapture for 6 Years. When I was in LG
Electronics I participated in embedded software ( OS ), and after that I work
for Korean VFX Company as MotionCapture Technition. And I'm working now
in FXLAB as MotionCapture Supervisor.
We run Vicon 8i ( 22 camera ) system.
It works well for a long time ^^.
